Zac Van Someren

I believe paintings are about energy. Their ability to soak in energy when you’re around them the vibe you give off while being in their presence will ever reflect their outcome. The finished product is a mere allusion. It is an essence the state of abandonment of the artist. This is the point into where the artist decided to give up and stop the evolution. The finished work will sit on the wall, or lay on the ground, or rest in storage wondering if it will ever see its creator again.

Zac Van Someren is a freelance artist who works primarily with oils. He was raised in Sacramento and now is based out of San Diego. Past projects include murals, portraits, landscapes, abstract and surrealism. Currently has works for sale and is accepting commissions .
